property industry golf society

THE SOCIETY

The Society was formed in March 1992 to arrange Golf Society Meetings three times each year at Surrey Golf Courses.  Members welcome the opportunity to meet socially, face to face, people they would normally only deal with by telephone, letter or e-mail.

The format is:-

1. A light ploughman’s style lunch.
2. An eighteen hole stableford competition.
3. Dinner and prize giving.

This allows members to get into the office early and complete their day’s work before leaving for the golf course at lunch-time!

Prizes include:-

1. The PIGS trophy.
2. Second and third places.
3. Guest’s prize.
4. Nearest the pin.
5. Longest Drive.
6. Team Prize.
7. Two’s.

Fifty pence is retained from each entry fee in the 'hole in one fund' to be paid to the player who scores a hole in one.  The fund is to be shared equally should more than one player score a hole in one at the same meeting.  The fund has not been paid out since inauguration in 1994.
